A new kitchen is only as good as the work behind it. We take care of everything around the units: stripping out, moving walls, re-routing plumbing and waste, new electrical circuits, plastering, flooring and fitting the kitchen itself.
If your kitchen is simply too small, a kitchen extension may be the answer. If the space is there but the layout does not work, knocking through to the dining room is often the best value. See structural alterations for removing load-bearing walls.
Knocking through for an open-plan kitchen
Removing the wall between a kitchen and dining room is one of the most popular changes we make in Manchester homes. If the wall is load-bearing, a structural engineer designs a steel beam and Building Control signs it off. We prop the structure safely, install the beam and make good, usually in a matter of days.
Working with your kitchen supplier
Many clients buy their kitchen from a showroom or online supplier. We are happy to fit it, and we will check the plan and measurements before you order, so the units, appliances and services all line up.
