A bathroom renovation involves more trades than almost any other room: plumbers, electricians, plasterers, tilers and joiners all need to work in the right order in a small space. We handle all of them, so you have one team and one point of contact instead of chasing four different tradespeople.
We renovate family bathrooms, en-suites and wet rooms across Manchester, Stockport and Trafford. We can supply your suite or fit one you have chosen.
What a full bathroom renovation includes
- Strip-out of the old suite, tiles and flooring, and disposal of waste.
- New plumbing and waste pipes, including moving the toilet, bath or shower where possible.
- Electrics carried out to current regulations: lighting, extractor fan, shaver points and heated towel rails.
- Waterproofing behind tiles in wet areas, boarding and plastering.
- Tiling, flooring, fitting the suite, brassware and furniture.
- Optional underfloor heating, concealed cisterns and recessed shelves.
Can I move the toilet or shower?
Usually, yes. Toilets need to connect to the soil stack with enough fall, so the route of the waste pipe decides how far one can move. Showers need a drain with enough fall too, and for a walk-in or level-access shower the floor may need to be built up or recessed. We work this out on the site visit before you commit to a layout.
Bathrooms as part of a bigger project
Many of our bathrooms are part of a larger job: a new en-suite in a loft conversion, a shower room in a garage conversion, or a full house renovation. Planning them together saves on plumbing runs and disruption.
